According to a Punch News report published on Thursday, November 6, 2025, a resident of the Ajah community where a young woman named Juliet lost her life has shared that she was restrained and taken to an unfinished structure, where she was brutally mistreated and abandoned in critical condition.
The eyewitness explained that the tragic event began after Juliet reportedly got into an argument with a man, during which she damaged the windshield of his car.
The man was said to have called on local toughs, who descended on her, bound her, and transported her to an abandoned building, where she suffered severe abuse. Sadly, she did not survive the ordeal by the time help reached her.
The resident stressed that the exact reason Juliet shattered the car window remains uncertain and does not excuse her actions. Still, the individual insisted that property damage should never escalate into violent retaliation.
The lawful step would have been to involve the police, not resorting to cruelty or mob justice. Those responsible must face the consequences under the law.
Hear him speak: “Juliet had issues with a particular man and broke his car windscreen. The man then hired ‘area boys’ to beat her up.
They tied her up, took her to an uncompleted building, tortured and molested her, and left her almost dead. Before people could rush her to get help, she gave up.
