T.Y. Danjuma Touches Down at Airport, Received by Brigadier General Chidiebere Uwa [Photos]

According to a media post by Promise Aken Audi, Media Aide to General T.Y. Danjuma, on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, elder statesman and retired Chief of Army Staff, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (Rtd.), touched down at the TY Danjuma Airport in Kashimbila, where he was warmly received by Brigadier General Kingsley Chidiebere Uwa, Commander 6 Brigade.

He was also welcomed by Hon. Bako Benjamin, Executive Chairman of Takum Local Government Area, who joined Brigadier General Uwa in receiving the respected statesman upon arrival.

The reception marked the beginning of General Danjuma’s scheduled visit to key institutions within the region.

Following his arrival, General Danjuma embarked on a tour of the T.Y. Danjuma Academy (TYDA) and T.Y. Danjuma University to inspect ongoing construction works.

The visit aimed at assessing project progress and ensuring that ongoing developments align with the standards and long-term educational vision he has set for the institutions.

It was revealed that the visit underscores General Danjuma’s continued commitment to promoting education and contributing to infrastructural development in the region.
