As A Gov's Chief Of Staff If Anything Went Wrong It Was My Fault,My Gov Sacked Me Many Times—Fashola

Former Governor Babatunde Fashola, SAN, has stated that he was often blamed for anything that went wrong in the government while serving as Chief of Staff to former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu.

In a video shared by Viable TV, Fashola said Tinubu at the time would sometimes sack him over trivial matters.

He stated that Tinubu would tell him he had been sacked, but about five minutes later, he would receive a message that Tinubu had reinstated him.

In Fashola's words: "As chief of staff to a governor, I feel somewhat like a registrar to a Chief Judge or High Court judge, if anything goes wrong it is my fault.

My governor sacked me many times. He would tell me 'You have been sacked', and then five minutes later I will get a call that 'The Governor wants to see you'.
