Former lawmaker and President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Mbata, has responded to the public statements recently made by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
In recent times, the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, had sparked mixed reactions amongst Nigerians after declaring that residents of Rivers State will not repeat past political mistakes ahead of the forthcoming 2027 presidential election.
However, in the video, former lawmaker and President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Senator John Mbata, criticized the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike, stressing that there is only one governor in Rivers State, which is Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Senator Mbata relayed his seniority in the political landscape, recalling how the former governor, Wike, used to wash his car, and in return, he paid his bills and fed him.
According to the video, "You have forgotten the days you used to wash my car, and I used to feed you and pay your school fees."
