Iran: Which Country On Earth Can Achieve This Under Wars And Sanctions? — Shehu Sani

Former Nigerian senator Shehu Sani has sparked renewed discussion online by pointing out what he called the remarkable achievements of Iran despite decades of international sanctions and geopolitical challenges.

In a post on his verified social media account, Sani questioned how Iran has made progress in crucial areas while facing economic restrictions and ongoing tensions with Western nations.

He raised questions about Iran’s advancements in education, healthcare, science, and military capabilities.

“How has a country under sanctions for 47 years achieved over a 90 percent literacy rate? How have they reached 98 percent literacy among women?” he asked.

The former senator also wondered how Iran managed to build a sophisticated healthcare system and a strong military despite global economic pressure.

He highlighted Iran’s scientific and industrial growth, noting the country’s success in training highly skilled scientists and developing a solid research foundation under sanctions.

Additionally, Sani pointed to Iran’s infrastructure achievements, including steady electricity supply and the construction of oil refineries, despite trade and technology restrictions.

“How have they provided uninterrupted electricity and built functioning refineries under sanctions?” he questioned.

He concluded by asking why some nations not facing sanctions have struggled to achieve similar progress.

“Which country in the world could accomplish this under war and sanctions? Why can’t nations without sanctions reach these levels of development?” he added.

His remarks come as tensions escalate in the Middle East amid the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
