A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dachung Bagos, has spoken about the Palm Sunday attack in Angwan Rukuba community of Jos, Plateau State by suspected bandits
In an interview with Channels Television, Bagos said the attackers invaded Angwan Rukuba on motorbikes and began shooting indiscriminately. He stated that they were speaking Fulfulde and appeared to know the exact routes they would take during the operation.
Bagos added that when youths in the community tried to chase after the attackers, the military stopped them.
In Bagos' words: "People now came in motorbikes shooting sporadically, speaking Fulfude and identify routes that they would follow.
They had already map out where they will follow. These are people that came and at the same time they had backup. When youths wanted to follow them to trace where they were, they were stopped by the military"
