During an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Kola Ologbondinyan, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), reacted to figures recently presented by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in their primary election, stating that many Nigerians were questioning the credibility of the numbers.
Ologbondinyan argued that Nigerians had become more politically conscious and realistic, adding that citizens were carefully observing developments in the political space even when they appeared silent.
According to him, “Nigerians are laughing at the figures that APC brought and they're asking the question where did they find it? Where did they gather?
Where did they get this one from? So it's quite different because you know Nigerians have become more politically realistic and on account of that, no matter what somebody is doing, no matter what a political party is doing, no matter what the politician is doing, even if Nigerians are not speaking out, even they're not saying anything they are taking records of all that's happening.”
