I Won't Attend Announcement Of ADC Election Results Today, I'm Concerned About Rigging- Hayatudeen

One of the chieftains of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Mohammed Hayatudeen has taken to his official X account on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 to state that he won't attend the ADC event where presidential primary election results will be announced.

According to the post that Hayatudeen made on his official X account, he said the event has been scheduled to hold today but he won't attend.

His statement came after the African Democratic Congress, ADC held presidential primary elections across many states in the country.

In the post that Mohammed Hayatudeen shared on his official X account, he said he won't attend the event because the election was rigged. 

He said he observed vote rigging and he will be making decision on his next steps.

According to Mohammed Hayatudeen on his official X account;

"I will not be attending the announcement of the ADC presidential election results today. I am concerned by reports from across the country of widespread vote rigging, some of which I observed. I will be taking advice on my next steps".
