Reactions Trail What Peter Obi Said After Carter Efe Beat Musician, Portable In A Boxing Match

Social media users have taken to their official X account to react to the statement that was made by former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi after Nigerian comedian, Carter Efe defeated musician, Portable in a celebrity boxing match.

According to PUNCH, Portable suffered his first defeat in celebrity boxing after Carter Efe outclassed him across three rounds to win by unanimous decision at the event that was held at the Balmoral Hall, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The report further stated that all three judges scored the bout 27-30 in favour of Carter Efe.

Reacting, Peter Obi congratulated Carter Efe on his victory. He said the government needs to look deeply into such events and invest more.

According to Peter Obi on his official X account;

"It is worthy to note that what began as light-hearted entertainment is rapidly evolving into a platform that commands widespread attention, particularly among young Nigerians. Beyond the rings, it reflects the energy, creativity and resilience of our youth".
