Reactions Trail What Sani Said As Sowore Resigns As AAC Chairman After Securing Presidential Ticket

Social media users have taken to their official X account on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani after Omoyele Sowore emerged as the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC.

This came after the African Action Congress, AAC conducted its primary election in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

According to PUNCH, after the Nigerian activist secured the presidential ticket of the African Action Congress, AAC, he resigned as the National Chairman of the party. The report further stated that Samuel Ajeigbe has been appointed as the new National Chairman of the party.

Reacting, Shehu Sani congratulated Omoyele Sowore.

According to Shehu Sani on his official X account;

"Congratulations to Omoyele Sowore on your hard earned victory as the flag bearer of your party, AAC. The lord is your strength".
