El-Rufai Announces Plan To Distribute 200 Bags Of Rice, Apologizes For Focusing On ADC Stakeholders

According to a statement shared on his verified X account on Saturday, June 6, 2026, Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, the member representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has announced plans to distribute 200 bags of rice to vulnerable communities and critical stakeholders in his constituency.

In a transparent disclosure, Bello El-Rufai who is the son of the former governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai stated that the distribution would prioritize stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the party he recently joined.

“By the end of the day, we will begin distribution of two hundred bags of rice to vulnerable communities and critical stakeholders in Kaduna North.

I apologise to the people of Kaduna North in advance for focusing on stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). I am stating this for the record and for the sake of transparency,” he wrote.

The lawmaker linked the rice distribution to the successful completion of an earlier intervention involving pumping machines for farmers. He emphasized that his office remains committed to broader developmental goals.

“Once my team complete the pumping machine assignment to farmers, as stated in my previous post, I will make the official announcement on the food distribution.

Our core focus will continue to be on education, health and support to MSMEs. Our records are opened to anyone seeking to verify,” El-Rufai added.

Accompanying his announcement was a video showcasing stacks of rice bags ready for immediate distribution and images of the lawmaker engaging with a large crowd of constituents. El-Rufai signed off the message by urging prayers for victims of insecurity across the nation.

“I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, but while doing so think and pray for all victims of insecurity across the nation,” he noted.
