In a video circulating widely on social media, the visibly angry passengers are heard shouting at the officer, ordering him to leave the bus and accusing him of disrupting their journey.
"Get out! Get out!" the commuters repeatedly chanted as tensions escalated inside the vehicle, drawing the attention of passers-by along the busy road.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident allegedly occurred along Obafemi Awolowo Way in Ikeja, where the officer had stopped the commercial bus during what was said to be a routine traffic enforcement operation.
The passengers claimed the officer entered the bus after the driver allegedly refused to comply with an unlawful demand for money.
