I Have Been Hearing Your Noise, I'm Not Scared Of You, Prison Are Meant For Human Not Animal—Isaac Fayose

According to a report by Daily Post on Friday, June 5, 2026, Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose, has said he remains undeterred by alleged threats from political opponents as he prepares to return to Nigeria ahead of the Ekiti governorship election.

Fayose, who has been abroad following the death of his wife, stated that Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration is approaching the end of its tenure.

He expressed confidence that Ekiti voters would decide the state's future at the ballot box and reject the ruling APC.

In a video posted on his Facebook page on Friday, Fayose announced that he would soon leave Australia and return to Ekiti to take part in political activities surrounding the election.

He said he would be back in the state before the election and dismissed attempts to intimidate him from returning.

According to him, he has heard the threats but remains unafraid, insisting that prisons are meant for human beings and that he is prepared for whatever comes his way.

Fayose also criticized the Oyebanji administration, alleging that despite receiving significant financial resources, it has not delivered enough development projects to justify the funds available to the state. He urged voters to use the election to determine the direction they want Ekiti to take.

Reflecting on previous claims that he could not return home, Fayose noted that he had recently spent three days in Ekiti without any incident, despite warnings from his critics.

Reaffirming his resolve, he maintained that no political pressure would prevent him from returning to the state or participating in the election period, expressing confidence that the people of Ekiti would ultimately make their decision through the democratic process.
