“If Anything Happens to Those Children, the U.S. Is Ready to Oppose Tinubu’s 2027 Ambition”— Ayodele

According to a video shared by Primate Elijah Ayodele on his official Facebook page on the 7th of June, 2026, the Nigerian cleric warned that any harm to the recently kidnapped schoolchildren could have serious political consequences for President Bola Tinubu, claiming that international forces, particularly the United States, would be prepared to oppose his re-election bid.

Ayodele, who is the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, made the remarks while expressing concern over the security situation in the country and the growing cases of kidnappings involving schoolchildren.

Speaking in the video, the cleric stressed the importance of ensuring the safe return of the abducted children, arguing that the incident has attracted widespread attention both within and outside Nigeria.

“If anything happens to the kidnapped children, America is ready to fight Tinubu's second term,” Ayodele said.

The prophet suggested that the handling of the kidnapping crisis could significantly influence perceptions of the current administration's commitment to protecting citizens. 

According to him, the safety of the children has become a matter of national and international concern, making it imperative for the government and security agencies to secure their release without delay.

Ayodele further urged authorities to intensify rescue efforts and adopt stronger security measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. 

He maintained that insecurity remains one of the biggest challenges facing the country and warned that failure to address it effectively could affect public confidence in the government.

His comments come amid increasing concern over the spate of kidnappings across several parts of Nigeria. 

In recent years, schools have become frequent targets for criminal groups seeking ransom payments, leading to heightened fears among parents, students, and educators.
