According to reports, Samuel Terna, a former athlete from Makurdi, traveled to Mexico several years ago in search of better economic opportunities and a chance to build a new life.
However, he claims his life took a dramatic turn after he unknowingly accommodated individuals who were later arrested by Mexican authorities over alleged criminal activities.
Samuel alleges that he was arrested alongside the group despite having no involvement in the alleged crimes.
He further claims that throughout the legal proceedings, he was denied access to a lawyer and a qualified interpreter, leaving him unable to understand the charges against him or adequately defend himself in court.GET FULL STORY HERE.
