According to Atiku, the alleged plan is aimed at weakening the opposition and denying Nigerians a credible political alternative ahead of the next presidential poll.
He made the claim through a statement issued on Monday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Phrank Shaibu.
He argued that the party had become the ruling party's main target because of its growing acceptance among Nigerians.
Atiku questioned why the ruling party would be worried about the ADC if it was genuinely confident of winning future elections through popular support.
He further alleged that institutions expected to remain neutral were being drawn into partisan politics, while politically motivated court cases and other forms of pressure were being deployed against the opposition.
He expressed concern that government officials appeared to be concentrating on political survival instead of addressing pressing national challenges such as inflation, unemployment, insecurity, hunger and the declining purchasing power of citizens.
Atiku warned that any attempt to stop the ADC from appearing on the ballot would amount to a serious attack on Nigeria's constitutional democracy.
He stressed that no government has the authority to determine which political parties Nigerians are allowed to vote for, insisting that the ballot remains the foundation of democratic governance.
He also called on the judiciary to remain independent and resist external influence, urging judges to uphold the Constitution without fear or favour.
In addition, he appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, civil society groups and the international community to remain vigilant and ensure that the electoral process remains free, fair and credible.
The former vice president maintained that no amount of intimidation or political manipulation would discourage Nigerians who believe in the ADC's vision for the country.
