President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has delivered a strong warning to bandits, kidnappers, and individuals sponsoring terrorist activities across Nigeria, declaring that the federal government will no longer tolerate acts of violence and insecurity that threaten the lives of citizens.
Speaking in a video shared by Channels Television on Friday, June 12, 2026, the President emphasized his administration's determination to confront criminal elements responsible for bloodshed and instability in different parts of the country.
He stressed that security agencies have been empowered to intensify operations against criminal networks and ensure that those involved in terrorism-related activities are brought to justice.
In his words, "To bandits, kidnappers and sponsors of terror, surrender or face the full force of the Nigerian state."
The President further stated that the government's patience has limits and that decisive action would be taken against anyone who continues to engage in violent crimes.
According to him, authorities are prepared to pursue and dismantle criminal groups that have continued to terrorize communities, abduct innocent citizens, and undermine national security.
Tinubu added, "This window of surrender will not be open forever, no mercy will be shown to those who trade in the blood.
