"They Said He Protested Against Jonathan. But He Explained In A Video That It's Not Protest-Bamiloye

In a recent post on his official Facebook page on Saturday, July 4th 2026, Mike Bamiloye has dismissed claims that Enoch Adeboye protested against the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, insisting that the widely referenced event has been repeatedly misrepresented.

In a statement shared on social media, Bamiloye said several people have continued to portray Adeboye's participation in a public march as a protest against Jonathan's government despite explanations to the contrary.

According to the filmmaker, available video recordings have consistently shown that the exercise was a prayer walk rather than a political demonstration.

"They said he protested against Jonathan Government," Bamiloye stated.
