You Know This Ticket Is a Joint Ticket, Who Knows Maybe This Will Be Our Last Version —Fubara

According to a report by Symfoni TV, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has once again underscored the united front of his government, highlighting that effective leadership functions as a collaborative effort rather than a solitary pursuit.

He shared these insights while speaking to attendees at a dedicated Thanksgiving service organised to commemorate fallen heroes and seek divine intervention for the state’s stability.

Addressing the gathering with a composed demeanour, the governor pointed out that his choice to have his deputy share the podium was a conscious act intended to show that their mandate belongs to both of them.

He maintained that the art of governing successfully hinges on a foundation of partnership, shared vision, and mutual regard between those chosen by the electorate.

“This ticket is a joint ticket; who knows, maybe this will be our last version,” the governor said, as he emphasised the vital role that collaboration and steadfastness play within the realm of public office.

During his address, Governor Fubara took a moment to contemplate the virtues of endurance and leadership, mentioning that he prefers a quiet approach over loud grievances or public outbursts.

He attributed his inner calm to his deep-seated spiritual convictions, which provide him with the necessary fortitude to navigate through trying circumstances.

The governor also reiterated his unwavering commitment to making peace the cornerstone of his agenda for Rivers State.

He argued that progress is unattainable in a volatile environment, and consequently, his team is devoted to maintaining order throughout the region.

He encouraged the public to remain composed and believe in the ongoing efforts of the government, promising that harmony would eventually win out.

Furthermore, he prompted the citizens to reflect on the legacies of those who died in service, suggesting that their selflessness should serve as a template for leaders and the general public to behave with integrity and compassion.

He reminded everyone that history will ultimately judge individuals based on the nature of their contributions, whether they were constructive or otherwise.

Concluding his speech, he requested that the clergy and the general populace maintain their intercessions for the state leadership, noting that spiritual support has been a major pillar for his administration.

He expressed a firm belief that these continued prayers would steer the state toward a prosperous future.

The gathering, which included top officials, traditional rulers, and religious figures, concluded with a collective plea for unity and a shared dedication to fostering a more peaceful Rivers State.
