In recent times, the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has charged the Nigerian Police Force and the Nigerian Army, as well as other security agencies, to employ new strategies in curbing the rising level of insecurity in Nigeria.
However, in the video, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu described the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, as a committed, honest, and hardworking Nigerian.
He made this statement during his recent visit to Adamawa State, where he commissioned several projects executed by Ahmadu Fintiri, the executive governor of Adamawa State.
President Tinubu's appraisal sparks mixed reactions amongst Nigerians, as it comes few days after rumors of the attempted arrest of ex-governor Nasir El-Rufai on orders of Nuhu Ribadu spread across the country.
According to the video, "You are a good national security adviser, honest, bold, courageous, and committed to the job. I believe the state of Adamawa is strongly proud of you because I am too."
