Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication and Social media to the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has reacted after the Federal Government arraigned the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
The reaction of Lere Olayinka was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Monday, February 16, 2026.
According to VANGUARD, the Federal Government entered a three-count charge against the former Governor of Kaduna state alleging that he unlawfully intercepted the phone communication of the National Security Adviser NSA, Nuhu Ribadu.
This is coming after Mallam Nasir El-Rufai spoke about a person tapping the phone of the NSA and sharing some information with him during his recent interview.
However, Lere Olayinka has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said the former governor of Kaduna state has dragged himself into trouble.
