Except God Changes It, You Are The One To Take Over From Fubara – Primate Ayodele

In a video shared on his Facebook page, Primate Ayodele declared that the political succession in Rivers State is guided by divine will and could soon see a new leader.

Addressing Umah Ihaye, he suggested that the transition from Governor Siminal Fubara might be imminent unless God intervenes.

“Umah Ihaye, I’m still saying that except God changes it, you are the one to take over from Fubara. Except if God say I will not do it again, but today God still want to do it,” Ayodele said.

He emphasized that leadership positions are not determined solely by political processes but also by God’s plan, highlighting the spiritual aspect of governance in Nigeria.

The pronouncement has sparked discussions on social media, with analysts and residents debating its implications for Rivers State politics.

Ayodele encouraged patience and prayer, stressing that God’s plan often unfolds beyond human expectation and that believers should remain faithful as divine guidance shapes leadership transitions.
