Several reactions have trailed the statement that was made by one of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani after it was reported that Bauchi governor, Bala Mohammed is planning to join ADC.
The reaction of the former Kaduna lawmaker was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on March 31, 2026.
According to THE CABLE, the governor of Bauchi state is planning to officially join the African Democratic Congress, ADC on Thursday.
The report further stated that the governor made the decision as a result of the leadership crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party.
However, Senator Shehu Sani has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he said he hopes those saying that the defection of governors from one political party to another means nothing will accept the governor of Bauchi state.
Here is what Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his official X handle;
"I hope those who said defection of governors means nothing will accept Bauchi and Oyo when it eventually happens?".
