Falana Is Worried That Omotosho Affirmed INEC'S Timetable, He Forgot Omotosho Was Elevated -Odinkalu

James Omotosho, a Justice of the Federal High Court in Abuja, recently issued a ruling, and Femi Falana, a senior attorney, has responded to remarks made by Chidi Odinkalu, a well-known human rights activist and former head of the National Human Rights Commission.

He was astonished by Falana's stance on the issue, according to a statement Odinkalu made public on his official X account on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Falana might have missed the information that Justice James Omotosho had already been cleared for promotion to the Court of Appeal, he argued.
