Olayinka Mocks ADC After 2 Of The 3 Presidential Aspirants Disagreed With Primary Election Results

Media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Lere Olayinka, has reacted to the controversy trailing the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary following reported disagreements by some aspirants over the outcome of the exercise.

Olayinka, in a post shared on social media, mocked the situation within the opposition party, suggesting that internal disagreements had already emerged after the primary election.

According to him, out of the three presidential aspirants in the contest, two were dissatisfied with the result while another appeared unbothered by the development.

“In their ADC Kolision Konfuson, there are three Presidential Aspirants,” he wrote.

“Two are shouting ‘WE NO GO GREE’. One is drinking FURA and LAUGHING,” he added.

The media aide also took a swipe at ADC spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi, alleging that he would eventually blame President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the internal disagreements.

“Tomorrow, Bolaji Abdullahi will be going from one TV station to another to blame Tinubu,” Olayinka stated.

The remarks come amid growing debates surrounding the ADC presidential primary and reports that some aspirants were unhappy with the announced results.

The development has generated reactions online, with supporters and critics of both the ruling party and opposition groups exchanging views over the conduct of party primaries and internal democracy ahead of the 2027 elections.

ADC is yet to issue a comprehensive response to the latest comments as political activities continue to intensify ahead of the next general election cycle.
