Reactions Trail What Kenneth Okonkwo Said After Atiku Defeated Amaechi In ADC Primary Election

Social media users have continued to share reactions following comments made by African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain Kenneth Okonkwo after Atiku Abubakar emerged victorious in the party’s presidential primary election held on May 27, 2027.

The former Vice President secured the ADC presidential ticket after defeating former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi and businessman Mohammed Hayatudeen in the primary election conducted across several states nationwide.

Following the announcement of the results, Kenneth Okonkwo took to his verified X account to congratulate Atiku Abubakar on becoming the party’s presidential candidate. 

He also expressed confidence that the former vice president would go on to win the 2027 presidential election and become Nigeria’s next leader.

In his statement, Okonkwo said:

“I also, by the grace of God, welcome you as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come May 29, 2027.”
