Speaking during an interview on the WithChude platform, Lawson addressed assumptions that some people may have about her early life, explaining that she came from a stable and supportive home where discipline, ambition, and hard work were highly valued.

According to Lawson, her father occupied a prominent position in the corporate world, serving as the Managing Director of NAFFCON, while her mother built a successful career as a businesswoman. 

She noted that both parents worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for their children and ensure they received the best possible upbringing.

“I came from a very good home. My dad was MD of NAFFCON, my mom a businesswoman,” Lawson said during the interview.
