According to images and reports reported by international media, the protests have shown strong solidarity between the people and the Iranian government, with many participants carrying Iranian national flags as well as those of Hezbollah — a political and military group supported by Tehran in Lebanon.

These protests appear to be part of a wave of rising political sentiment in Iran, after tensions between Israel and Iranian-backed groups in Lebanon escalated again.

In the streets of Tehran, protesters reportedly shouted their support for their government, while strongly criticizing Israeli attacks that have targeted areas south of Beirut — an area known to be a key Hezbollah stronghold.

Images from the scene show a large crowd dressed in green, black and red — colors associated with political and military movements in the region. Iranian flags were common, while others were Hezbollah flags, indicating political solidarity between the two sides.
