Bala Mohammed has described former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi as the leading figure of Nigeria's opposition, saying the former governor continues to command admiration across opposition political parties.
Speaking about Obi's place in Nigeria's political landscape, Mohammed said many politicians in the opposition have respected the former governor for years despite belonging to different political parties.
"We in opposition party have always admired him. Whether we like it or not, Peter Obi remains the face and leader of the opposition in Nigeria," the Bauchi governor said.
