Olayinka's comments came in the wake of Obi's interview on Channels Television's Politics Today, where the former Anambra State governor was interviewed by Seun Okinbaloye.
In a post shared on his social media page, Olayinka questioned why Oseni did not ask Obi what he described as "probing questions" during previous interviews, unlike Okinbaloye.
"When Animal Anatomist Rufai Oseni interviewed Peter Obi, why didn't he ask those probing questions that Seun Okinbaloye asked?" Olayinka wrote.
He further accused the television presenter of failing to challenge Obi on key issues during their interviews.
"Why didn't Rufai Oseni put anything to Peter Obi? What happened to Rufai Oseni's empirical facts?" he asked.
Olayinka also suggested that Oseni only became vocal after Okinbaloye's interview had attracted public attention.
"Na now him mouth come dey dance kokoma after Seun Okinbaloye did what hypocrisy didn't allow him to do," he added.
The remarks appear to reference the contrasting reactions generated by Obi's recent television interview, which has continued to spark debate across political circles and social media.
While supporters of the former presidential candidate have defended his performance, some critics, including Olayinka, have argued that the interview exposed inconsistencies in Obi's political positions.
As of the time of filing this report, Rufai Oseni had not publicly responded to Olayinka's comments.
