Police Arrest Pastor Over Alleged Assassination Plot Against Wike

Port Harcourt – The political tension in Rivers State has taken a serious turn after a local pastor and medical doctor was arrested over an alleged plan to assassinate former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Security sources told SaharaReporters that Dr. Tombari Joseph Gbeneol, founder of Life Forte Chapel Church in Port Harcourt, was arrested by the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

The arrest followed the interception of a phone conversation between Gbeneol and the immediate past Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo.
