President Tinubu Told APC Members Two Years Ago That They Will All Have Automatic Tickets -Abdullahi

The head of the Northern Consensus Movement, Dr. Awwal Abdullahi, has asserted that the recent high-profile defections to the ruling party are heavily influenced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's declaration pledging automatic tickets to APC members in 2027.

News Central TV interviewed Dr. Abdullahi, who blamed the president's strategic statement during his budget presentation to the National Assembly for the mass exodus. At the moment, the focus is on interest.

Everything began two years ago when President Bola Tinubu, during his budget presentation to the National Assembly, joked that all APC members would have automatic tickets.

He continued by saying that it happened during his budget presentation to the National Assembly.

The leader of the Northern Consensus Movement characterised the announcement as the work of a master political strategist with an eye for timing and strategic messaging.

As he pointed out, what seemed like a joke during the budget presentation was actually a well-planned incentive to entice opposition figures to the APC ahead of the 2027 elections.

This, he claims, is all part of the president's strategy to consolidate political advantage in his dual role as both politician and national leader.
