In a recent YouTube video, Bishop David Oyedepo, the Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, announced that Nigeria is on the brink of long-lasting peace and stability, asserting that the country's security issues will soon be resolved.
During a church service where he led prayers for national peace and safety, Oyedepo expressed his belief that divine intervention would bring about a renewed sense of calm for the nation.
“We are going to achieve long-term peace in Nigeria,” Oyedepo stated, predicting that the nation will move past its struggles with violence and instability.
He added, “Security concerns will no longer exist,” signaling an end to fear and disorder in communities.
The bishop also prophesied that citizens would enjoy freedom and safety, indicating that normalcy would return to the streets of Nigeria.
“There shall be liberty on our streets,” he affirmed, assuring that Nigerians would be able to go about their lives without the threat of violence or disruptions.
Oyedepo condemned violent conflict and property destruction, calling for divine protection over the country.
“There shall be no outburst of violence in our borders in the name of Jesus Christ,” he declared, receiving enthusiastic agreement from the congregation.
Beyond prayers held in the church, Oyedepo encouraged attendees to share messages of faith and hope outside the church walls.
He urged them to communicate the prayer intentions and declarations on various platforms to enhance collective prayer for the nation. “Please share that on your platforms today,” he requested.
He highlighted the importance of gratitude in the spiritual journey, inviting worshippers to thank God in anticipation of answered prayers.
“Lift up your hands and give God thanks,” Oyedepo instructed, leading the church in a chorus of praise.
He concluded the session with a heartfelt expression of thanksgiving, reinforcing his conviction that peace in Nigeria is not only achievable but imminent through faith, prayer, and communal effort.
