“I Won’t Apologise for What I Said,” Primate Ayodele Sends Warning to Mahama, NDC

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reiterated his earlier comments concerning Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), insisting that he has no reason to apologise for his statements.

Primate Ayodele said, his previous warnings were divinely inspired and meant to alert the NDC leadership to impending challenges ahead of future political engagements.

Speaking during a recent address, the cleric maintained that his remarks were neither personal attacks nor politically motivated, stressing that his role as a prophet requires him to speak frankly, regardless of public reaction.

“Whatever I said the other time, I have no apology on it,” Ayodele declared; “When God reveals things to me, I must say them exactly the way I see them; It is not about pleasing people or parties.”

He warned that the NDC must not ignore spiritual signals and strategic signs, noting that failure to take corrective measures could expose the party to internal crises and electoral setbacks; According to him, the challenges confronting the party may not necessarily come from external opposition alone but could arise from internal divisions, poor strategy, and ignored warnings.

Primate Ayodele advised Mahama and the NDC leadership to focus on unity, careful planning, and sincere introspection as preparations intensify for future elections;

He stressed that politics, like leadership, requires both physical strategy and spiritual sensitivity.

Ayodele has remained resolute, insisting that time usually validates his warnings; He urged party supporters and critics alike to judge his words not by sentiment, but by eventual outcomes.
