In an interview with Naija 102 FM, Omotola said that even as a married woman, many women and men have given her gifts simply because they admire her. She revealed that someone once gave her a car as a gift.
Omotola said her husband is a very secure person and does not feel threatened or insecure about the attention and gifts she receives from admirers.
In Omotola's words: "Women get admirers. Men too have admirers who help them but women have more. I'm a married woman, I know how many women and men have given me things, women and men who just see me and say 'Oh, Omotola, I'm sending you this'. Someone has given me a car before. My husband is the most secure human being you will ever meet"
