I Was Nearly Butchered In Wuse Market When We Took "Our Mumu Don Do" Campaign There - Charly Boy

In a discussion with The Podcast Network, Charles Oputa, known as Charly Boy, a musician and actor, revealed that during the OurMumuDonDo movement in Abuja in 2017, he and fellow demonstrators faced an assault from security personnel.

Charly Boy mentioned that when he and the other activists brought the campaign to Wuse Market in Abuja, he came very close to being killed. He explained that some individuals almost attacked him there. 

Charly Boy also expressed that he has encountered numerous frightening events throughout his life, and these incidents lead him to believe there is a purpose for his survival.

Charly Boy remarked: "At one point, we took the campaign to Wuse Market, and I was nearly killed there. Many awful things have occurred in my life, which is why I believe there is a reason for me still being here."
