Reactions Trail The Promise That El-Rufai's Wife Made To El-Rufai After He Was Invited And Detained

Social media users have taken to their official X account to react to the promise that Hadiza Isma El-Rufai, the wife of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai made to her husband.

In the post that Hadiza Isma El-Rufai shared on her page on March 1, 2026, she promised not to leave the former governor of Kaduna state.

Her statement came after Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was invited by the ICPC and was subsequently arrested.

The incident has heightened tensions in the Middle East, given the longstanding hostilities between Iran and Israel. Gumi described Khamenei as a fortunate figure who died while defending his principles.

He said the Iranian leader lost his life in what he termed a struggle against those responsible for the deaths of innocent people in Gaza and elsewhere.

Gumi emphasized the broader impact of Khamenei’s passing on the Muslim world, highlighting the late leader’s commitment to justice and his visible leadership during challenging periods. He warned that those involved in Khamenei’s death would ultimately face the consequences of their actions.

In his statement, Gumi said: “Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was a fortunate soul. He died in a struggle against the killers of innocent children and women in Gaza. His sacrifice will inspire change in the Muslim community.

He remained steadfast for justice and did not hide during times of danger. Those responsible for his death, or who assisted in it, will one day be held accountable.”

Gumi’s comments reflect the reverence in which Khamenei was held by his supporters and underscore the deep political and religious ramifications of his reported death.
