Obi: Okonkwo Said He Collected N10m And Wrote Election Results; He's Not Different From Them - Bwala

Daniel Bwala, the senior special adviser on media and policy communications to President Tinubu has taken to his official X handle to blast the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Tuesday June 9th, 2026 he pointed out that the former governor was not different from those he described as political criminals.

His comment was a reaction to the statements made by former Labour Party spokesman, Kenneth Okonkwo. Okonkwo had launched a scathing attack on the former governor, describing him as compromised.

According to his viral statements, he pointed out that the NDC Chieftain not only extorted aspirants, but also wrote election results that were yet to be conducted.

His comments quickly gained massive traction across various social media platforms, sparking fresh debates into the credibility of the former Anambra State governor.

Daniel Bwala, a known critic of Peter Obi, pointed out that the comments from Kenneth Okonkwo do not need an investigation, arguing that the former governor was in the same league with those he condemned.

However, while the allegations were yet to be verified, the statements from Kenneth Okonkwo and the follow-up remark from Daniel Bwala indicated that not many were pleased with Peter Obi.
