‘President Tinubu Heard Him, Invited Him To Aso Rock, And He Repeated The Same Message Face To Face,’ Mike Bamiloye Defends Pastor Adeboye Over Security Comments

Christian filmmaker Mike Bamiloye has defended Pastor Enoch Adeboye against claims that the respected church leader has remained silent on Nigeria's security challenges, saying the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) General Overseer has openly spoken about the issue and even addressed President Bola Tinubu directly.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Bamiloye said Adeboye has consistently called on the Federal Government to take stronger action against insecurity and terrorism affecting different parts of the country.

According to Bamiloye, one of Adeboye's strongest public statements came during the RCCG Holy Ghost Night held in November 2025. He explained that the event attracted hundreds of thousands of worshippers, giving the pastor an opportunity to speak on the country's security situation.

"He stood before a massive crowd at Holy Ghost Night in November 2025 and called for immediate government action," Bamiloye wrote.

The filmmaker said Adeboye did not hide his concerns but openly challenged President Tinubu to act quickly against terrorist groups operating in Nigeria.
